Royal Brompton Hospital

The hospital says children’s heart and lung inpatient services began moving to Evelina London from May 2026. An old Royal Brompton appointment or a familiar consultant’s name is not enough to identify the destination. Use the current admission letter to decide between Chelsea and the St Thomas’/Evelina campus.

The main hospital address is Sydney Street, SW3 6NP. Some outpatient appointments use Fulham Wing on Fulham Road. Read the wing and entrance on the appointment letter before setting your route; the two approaches are on different streets.

South Kensington is the nearby Tube station used in the hospital’s directions, but it is not a step-free station. Earl’s Court offers a lift-based alternative, followed by a street journey to Chelsea. Use TfL’s guide for the line, platform and boarding arrangements rather than treating every platform at a station as identical.

Public parking at the hospital is very limited. The hospital’s heart-surgery guide describes a possible fifteen-minute stop at the main entrance for admission or collection, arranged with the parking attendant. That is a department-specific arrangement, not permission to park for an appointment; arrange collection with the ward.
