Apartments in Westminster can look very close on a map, but the trip uses a bridge. Waterloo and South Bank apartments are on the hospital’s side of the river. The walking estimates below follow the pedestrian network instead of measuring across the water.

Use Westminster Bridge Road, SE1 7EH, for this campus, then follow the building and reception on the appointment letter. A children’s appointment at Evelina London may have a different internal destination from an adult appointment at St Thomas’.

The hospital’s car park is open around the clock, with limited capacity and frequent queues. Signposted drop-off and collection points are inside the car park barriers. The hospital allows twenty minutes free for that purpose; longer stays become chargeable.

For free parking, the badge holder must attend an appointment that day and be in the vehicle. The hospital directs visitors to the Knowledge and Information Centre in North Wing with appointment evidence and their badge; outside its opening hours, use main-reception security.

Westminster’s Jubilee line provides a step-free route to street level followed by the crossing of Westminster Bridge. Waterloo is another major arrival point, but access differs between mainline and Tube services. Check TfL’s line-specific guide and current lift status before setting the route.
